Barely a month from Election Day, even fashion magazines want to join the hype. Such is the case of Tentación, fashion magazine of El Universal newspaper, which comissioned me this cover with the most important candidates walking as top models. Sorry, folks, local joke.

En vísperas de nuestras elecciones, hasta las revistas de moda quieren participar. Este fue el caso de "Tentación", suplemento de moda del periódico El Universal, quienes me pidieron esta portada, con los tres candidatos desfilando sobre una pasarela.

Holidays on Mars is the title of a children's book I wrote a few years ago. Now that it may be finally published --illustrated by yours trully-- I'm trying to find a graphic style that fits all together. I still haven't found it, but this image popped up during the process.

Hice este minicuento infantil de seis viñetas para la revista El vagón literario, especializada en literatura infantil, a petición de mi amigo César "Kone" Evangelista. Aún me gusta. Hay que leerla de arriba hacia abajo.


Vampire Kid can't sleep.


He drank a glass of milk.

Since that didn't work, he started counting sheep.

But the big bad wolf came and ate them.



"It's three after noon. Why can't you sleep?", asked Vampire Dad.

"I've nightmares", said the kid. "I dream scary monsters."



"Say a prayer to your Guardian Devil and you'll sleep better", said Dad. So he did and since then, he sleeps like an ang... sorry, like a devil.
